| 63 | Tulear, Madagascar and Inhambane, Mozambique | Jul 15 - Jul 28, 2010 | 14 | Epic |
From Inhambane we'll sail 100 miles north to the Bazaruto archipelago. Much of it is a preserve and hosts shoals of colorful tropical fish, pristine white sand beaches and from satellite views, some insane lagoon kiting.
If possible, take some time before and after this trip to explore inland both in Madagascar and Mozambique. Take your pick among the many national parks, reserves, paragliding on the dunes...the possibilities are endless.
Please note: Madagascar and Mozambique have a high Malaria risk and you'll need some immunizations like Typhoid and Yellowfever before you enter. You may also need a visa. Please check with the CDC> well before your trip for health risks and check Visa HQ for visa needs. Also, it's a bit cooler down here than what we've been used to- bring some warmer cloths and a thin wetsuit.
