Indeed, Pohnpei gets more rain than anywhere else in the South Pacific, with over 40 rivers and stunning waterfalls. Surrounded by a healthy barrier reef, the area supports the most varied marine life in Micronesia. It also supports a killer right-hander...

But between Kosrae and Pohnpei are two tiny little atolls that Google Earth has me very excited about. Pingelap and Mokil- I doubt more than a handful of people in the world have ever seen these two, and that's what this expedition is all about.
