Bora-Bora, our destination needs little description. Grab any postcard of the Pacific and Bora-Bora will be on display. But the far, far lesser known and visited, but equally as splendid are some tiny neighbors in the Austral islands which at this time of year plays host to migrating Humpback whales who make the tiny Austral Archipelago their home for the birth of their calves. With some luck, we'll be swimming with these gentle giants. On the off chance that we don't get lucky there is little to worry about- the Australs get the tradewinds as well as anywhere in the South Pacific, and there is a reef system that just goes and goes. Plenty of places to explore, kite, dive- or just relax in paradise. Then we'll have a nice 2 day reach NE to Bora-Bora, certainly a fine landfall on this prestigious Epic.
