I will be spending two and a half months (at least) aboard
each year, hopefully as extended trips. I have learned that it is NOW
time to do the things I have always dreamed about ...... one day I'll
do ........ . When this 5 year adventure kicks off I will be 45, when
it finishes I'll be 50. If that last number scares any of you reading
this, then perhaps you should seriously consider buying more shares. So I'm looking forward to spending time with like minded people and leaving my conventional life behind. I'm in for the off shore passages, the quiet times at anchor, pushing my aching body to the limit kiting places that were never meant to be kited. I want to eat fish and Gav's granola everyday. And Jody's rhubarb crumble ....... I also know that this trip will reshape the rest of my life when not aboard. I have had to free myself up from certain routine constraints, and this will allow me to travel more, be more healthy, work much less but enjoy it more. |
